According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir directed to ensure the honorable and safe repatriation and deputation of all illegal immigrants.

The Chief of Army Staff stressed on maintaining the standard of professionalism during operations and achieving excellence during training of formations.

The forum was briefed on the situation in the region and the challenges and growing threats to national security.

The army chief said that operations against hoarding, smuggling mafias and cartels in various areas would be strengthened in the coming days to rid the country of the negative effects of such economic activities.

The army chief said that the army will continue to provide all possible support to the government and institutions in taking strict legal action against illegal activities across the country.

The forum also reviewed ongoing operations against illegal economic activities, the forum expressed concern over the loss of innocent civilian lives in Israel’s use of force in the Gaza-Israel war.

The Cor  Commanders’ Conference pledged to fully support the government’s decision to deport and repatriate illegal immigrants by November 1.
