The criticism from the actress came when Wasim Akram’s wife Shanira Akram wrote in a post that she felt helpless.
He wrote on social platform X that ‘I have never felt shy or afraid to express my thoughts and feelings openly but at the moment I am very emotional.

Shanira Akram wrote that ‘Actually I don’t have words to express my thoughts, I apologize if this has hurt anyone’s heart.
She did not specify in her post whether she was referring to the Israeli bombing of Gaza.
Reposting Shanira Akram’s post, actress Armina Khan criticized her and wrote, ‘When it comes to Pakistan, you have so many words to say.
“Talk openly about Palestine or keep your dramas to yourself,” he advised.
