    Pakistan: 2 killed, 4 injured in Jaffar Express explosion near Chichawatni

    Canada Global (Web News) Explosion in the Jaffar Express in Chichawatni left two people dead and four more hurt.

    Quetta to Peshawar was where the train was headed.

    The explosion happened after a cylinder blew out inside the train’s fourth bogie, according to Babar Ali, a spokesman for Pakistan Railways. According to accounts, the train exploded as soon as it departed Mian Channu, and although the passengers kept pulling the emergency chain, nobody on the staff seemed to notice.

    Police and Rescue 1122 arrived at the scene and began an investigation because the cause of the explosion was yet unknown. They were sent to a local hospital with the injured and dead.

    The incident was noted by interim Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who also requested a probe and a report from the Inspector General of Police. The CM gave the commissioner, the RPO, the deputy commissioner, and the DPO Sahiwal instructions to get to the scene right away and treat the injured as best they could.

    Canada Global (Web News) Police in Toronto are looking into allegations that up to 10 teenage females attacked numerous people at different TTC subway stations last month.

    Between 10 p.m. and 12 a.m. on December 17, according to police, assaults took place at Queen’s Park, St. Partick, Osgoode, St. Andrew, and Union stations.

    Police have sent a news release asking for assistance in finding the attack victims. They kindly request that anyone who believes they may have been assaulted that evening get in touch with the police at 416-808-5200 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).

    This is the second violent incident involving adolescent girls in Toronto.

    Minutes after the TTC assaults, at around 12:17 in the morning, a gang of eight girls, aged between 13 and 16, allegedly attacked a homeless man on York Street and University Avenue, just outside of Union Station.

    The killing of the victim, identified as 59-year-old Ken Lee, has been blamed on all eight defendants.
