The government says that there has been a steady increase in protests near schools, which has led to a ban on protesting within 20 meters of schools under the new security act so as not to disrupt the school’s academic activities. According to the newly enacted law, no protest can be held within 20 meters of schools from 7 am to 6 pm and those who do so will be issued a ticket under the law and subject to various conditions.
