Canada Global(Web News) According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces conducted an operation on a tip-off about the presence of terrorists in Tirah area of Khyber district.
During the operation, the troops under the leadership of Lt. Col. Muhammad Hassan Haider effectively targeted the hideouts of the terrorists, resulting in the death of 3 terrorists and 3 injuries.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, during the intense exchange of fire, 4 soldiers, including the lieutenant colonel, fought bravely and sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country.
The martyrs include 43-year-old Lt. Col. Muhammad Hasan Haider, a resident of Islamabad, 31-year-old Naik Khushdal Khan, a resident of Lucky Marwat district, 27-year-old Naik Rafiq Khan, a resident of Charsadda district, and 33-year-old Lance Naik Abdul Qadir.
According to ISPR, an operation is being conducted to eliminate any terrorist in the area.
