    The federal cabinet approved the trial of the cipher case in Adiala Jail

     Canada Global(Web News)The supervising federal cabinet approved the trial of the cipher case in Adiala Jail.

    According to the sources, approval was taken through circulation from the cabinet members on the summary of the Ministry of Law and Justice.

    Sources say that the trial against former Prime Minister Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood and other people under the Official Secrets Act will be held in Adiala Jail. 

    Sources say that in the light of the decision of Special Court Judge Abu Al-Hasnat Zul-Qarnain, approval was taken from the federal cabinet to conduct the trial of the cipher case in Adiala Jail. 

    According to the sources, the federal cabinet was also informed of the Islamabad High Court’s decision to nullify the jail trial.

    It should be remembered that yesterday the Federal Cabinet approved the trial of the 190 million pound Al-Qadir Trust case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in jail.

    What is a cipher case?
    Chairman PTI Imran Khan had prepared a conspiracy narrative against his government based on the messages of the Pakistani ambassador to the US, in which Imran Khan had claimed that the US was involved in the overthrow of his government through the National Security Committee.     Regarding the cipher, former DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Babar Iftikhar said that an attempt was made to dramatize the cipher and rumors and false news were spread to gain political advantage.

    A special court judge heard the cipher case in Adiala Jail, the court had fixed today as the date for chargesheeting at the previous hearing.
    Chairman PTI Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi could not be indicted in the cipher case hearing on Tuesday, after which the court postponed the indictment till the next hearing.
    Due to the fact that the copies of the challan were not distributed on the previous hearing, the prosecution could not proceed, however, the court adjourned the hearing of the case for a week by distributing the copies of the challan among the accused.
