Canada Global(Web News)The King George Skytrain Station in Surrey will be closed for six weeks until mid-June for essential maintenance and repairs.
Meanwhile the Expo Line service, which normally terminates at King George Station, will temporarily terminate at Surrey Central Station. No trains will be running to or from King George station, which may cause inconvenience to commuters traveling on this route daily.
Several track sections of the Skytrain station, which opened 30 years ago, need to be replaced, a news release said.
Additional upgrade work is planned at King George Station during the closure, including lift improvements.
