Canada Global(Web News)Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf spokesperson Barrister Gohar Khan has said that some political parties want to move the general elections beyond January.
Speaking on private TV, he said that if the Supreme Court orders elections in 90 days, then the elections will be held 90 days from today, even if they are held on November 7.
He said that during the tenure of Justice Umar Atta Bandial, our request to hold elections in 90 days was not scheduled for hearing because the PDM government had put pressure on them.
Gauhar Khan said that once the law of practice and procedure is restored, it is the duty of the Chief Justice to fix the case for the first hearing.
