Canada Global(Web News) One person died and three others were injured after several vehicles collided in Scarborough in the morning. The collision was so violent that one vehicle overturned and got stuck.
Toronto police said they were called to a report of a crash at Markham Road and Milner Avenue north of Highway 401 around 6:30 a.m. According to police, five vehicles were involved in the crash. Photos from the scene showed a black Mercedes SUV lying on its roof near the intersection and the wreckage of at least two other vehicles in the intersection. It was scattered.
Toronto Fire says three people were trapped in the vehicles after the crash. After removing these trapped people from the vehicles, they were taken to the hospital. Paramedics said four men were taken to hospital, two of them in critical condition. The other two sustained minor injuries. Police say one person died on arrival at the hospital. There is no word yet on how the accident happened.
