Security Council: Russia’s Palestine, Israel Cease-Fire Resolution Rejected

 Canada Global(Web News) In the Security Council, the resolution of Russia’s ceasefire between Palestine and Israel was rejected by 4 votes.

In the United Nations Security Council, Russia presented a cease-fire resolution to end the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Russia failed to get 9 votes in the 15-member body.

Russia received 5 votes in favor of the resolution, including China, Gabon, Mozambique, Russia, and the United Arab Emirates, while France, Japan, Great Britain, and the United States voted against.

Six members of the Security Council abstained from voting on the Russian resolution, including Albania, Brazil, Ecuador, Ghana, Malta, and Switzerland.
