Canada Global (Web News) Atif Munsif, the Tehsil Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from Havelian, was one of seven people murdered in a Monday targeted shooting on his car.
According to reports, Atif Munsif was on his way home when unidentified assailants opened fire on his car in the village of Langra, killing him along with four of his security guards and three other staff. According to District Police Officer (DPO) Umar Tufail, the attackers also fired a rocket at the car, causing it to catch fire and obliterate the vehicle and the bodies within.
An investigation into the incident has been opened by the police.
