Plane Crashes After Taking Off From Collingwood Regional Airport

Canada Global(Web News)Emergency crews arrived at the scene after an unidentified plane crashed after taking off from Collingwood Regional Airport on Sunday.

A Collingwood Regional Airport employee said the plane crashed around noon, with the cause still unknown.
Clearview Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Spears said the plane was a single-seater ultralight. Officials say it was attempting to land in a field at Fairgrounds Road and County Road 91. The pilot and one passenger are unharmed.
