Canada Global(Web News)The PIA administration has set an age limit for air hostesses going to Canada and European countries. National airline administrations in Canada and European countries have issued instructions to include air hostesses over 50 years of age in international flight rosters.
The said decision was taken on the frequent incidents of disappearance of female air hostesses and male stewards. On November 10, two flight stewards, Khalid Mehmood Afridi and Fida Hussain Shah, who were traveling from Pakistan to Canada, went missing in Toronto, Canada.
While returning from Canada, both air hostesses did not reach their flight, the said flight returned without both persons, Fida Hussain Shah’s personal staff number was 61277 and Khalid Mehmood’s personal staff number was 60744.
Several PIA air hostesses have gone missing from overseas flights in the past, including female air hostesses and male cabin crew.
The Canadian local authority has been contacted regarding the disappearance of the two air hostesses and upon completion of the investigation, strict disciplinary action will be taken against the two air hostesses, including termination of employment and forfeiture of dues. .
