PIA Crisis, More Than 300 Flights Canceled In 10 Days

Canada Global(Web News) Pakistan International Airlines is on the verge of closure due to fuel unavailability and financial crisis, the spokesperson of the national airline has confirmed that more than 300 PIA flights have been canceled in the last 10 days. 

According to the report, the national airline is facing the worst crisis in history, Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has reduced fuel supply to PIA due to non-payment of dues.

A total of 322 flights including 134 international flights of PIA had to be canceled since October 14 due to this move by PSO.

According to PIA spokesperson, a total of 51 flights including 27 domestic flights were canceled on Tuesday.

Massive flight cancellations have left thousands of passengers stranded, with PIA management unable to even inform passengers about the likely departure times of flights, forcing passengers to seek seats on other airlines.

A PIA spokesperson said that the agency apologizes for the inconvenience caused to the passengers due to the cancellation of the flights, and the management is trying to accommodate the passengers on alternative flights.
