Canada Global (Web News) Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, a former chief minister of Punjab, stated on Friday that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was “postponing” the Punjab Assembly elections as a sign of acceptance of its defeat.
Ishtiaq Ahmad Khan, the president of the Lahore High Court Bar, and Rana Intizar Hussain, the president of the Lahore Bar, visited Mr. Elahi. Discussions were held on this occasion regarding the constitutional issues connected to the postponement of the Punjab Assembly elections.
Mr. Elahi criticised the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), alleging that the ECP had overstepped its constitutional authority and that the ECP’s role was to oversee the conduct of elections.
Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, a former chief minister of Punjab, stated on Wednesday that the government’s discussions with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) were unimportant.
At his meeting with PTI veterans Raja Basharat and Mehmoodur Rasheed, Mr. Elahi was voicing his opinions. The current government, he claimed, had “stopped the voyage of progress, which was initiated during the time of former prime minister Imran Khan.”
Due to the bad actions of its incompetent leaders, the nation was experiencing ramifications on a worldwide scale. The ruling class, despite their promises to help the nation’s economy, has done nothing, he said.
