Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi has reacted to India’s baseless allegations after the Pahalgam attack in occupied Kashmir. Shahid Afridi has said in his statement that India prematurely held Pakistan responsible for the incident in occupied Kashmir. It is regrettable that India is holding Pakistan responsible without evidence. The former captain said that Pakistan is facing terrorism, regrets the loss of human lives in occupied Kashmir and the increasing terrorist attacks in Pakistan. Shahid Afridi said that diplomatic talks between Pakistan and India are the only solution to the problems, nothing can be achieved through fighting and cricket should not be a part of politics. It should be noted that tensions between Pakistan and India have increased after the death of 26 Indian tourists in the Pahalgam area of occupied Kashmir. Pakistan has also reacted forcefully to India’s actions, including the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty.
