Canada Global(Web News)The Official Secrets Act Court has ordered a telephonic conversation with PTI chairman’s sons.
A hearing was held on the request of former Prime Minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan to have a telephone conversation with his sons, in which Imran Khan’s lawyer Shiraz Ahmed Ranjha appeared in front of the Islamabad Special Secret Act Court Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain.
The court remarked that till now the SOPs regarding the telephonic conversation have not come from the Superintendent of Adiala Jail. To which the lawyer replied that the SOPs have not come even today. If you say so, I will assist the court.
The lawyer requested the court that the chairman wants t provide a bicycle to the PTI for exercise in the jail, to which the judge said that regarding the bicycle, I have already told the jail authorities. The lawyer said that if the court allows, I will provide the bicycle today.
The judge remarked that I wanted the bicycle not to be misused. Lest the bicycle be driven by the Jail Superintendent. The Jail Manual is also to be seen. The security of the under-trial accused is important to us. The lawyer said that if there are any concerns, appoint an officer to supervise the use of the bicycle.
The judge said that Chairman PTI says that food should be ordered from home, but who will take the responsibility? If the food is prepared in the jail, the jail authorities are responsible. I place an order on the bicycle issue, the issue is resolved.
Later, Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain of the Official Secret Act Special Court ordered a telephonic conversation with PTI chairman’s sons. The court, while accepting the request of Imran Khan, ordered that the Superintendent Adiala Jail conduct a telephonic conversation with the sons of Chairman PTI through WhatsApp.
