Canada Global(Web News)A person is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in North Toronto on Saturday morning.
Toronto police said the incident happened at 8:40 a.m. in the area of Willowdale and Finch avenues, east of Yonge Street.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and the victim was taken to the hospital, police said.
Toronto paramedics said they transported a man with serious injuries to a trauma center.

The area was cordoned off after the collision.
A white Mercedes van was seen in the cordoned off intersection stopped at the crosswalk.
Nothing can be said about what caused the incident.
