No One Will Accept The Election Results Without Tehreek-E-Insaf, People’s Party

People’s Party leaders say that the bias of the caretaker governments is becoming clear with each passing day as they are giving ‘special treatment’ to PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif.

According to the announcement of the Election Commission, the elections are likely to be held in the last week of January 2024, however, no official schedule has been released yet, due to which the situation of uncertainty is increasing in the concerned constituencies.

People’s Party Secretary General Nayar Bukhari said that the Election Commission and the Supreme Court are responsible for not giving the date of the election.

He said that if everyone is not given a level playing field, questions will arise on the election results, if the election results are not accepted, the country will face a constitutional crisis.

People’s Party Vice President Senator Sherry Rehman also expressed concern over the uncertainty regarding the date of the elections in a conversation with the media.

He said that the delay in the elections is creating uncertainty and questions are being raised about the credibility of the Election Commission. Chairman People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is continuously demanding the announcement of the date of elections, but the Election Commission has not given any response.

Sherry Rahman said that on one hand we are waiting for the announcement of the election date and on the other hand the last date for voter registration and updating of information has been extended till October 28.

He said that in order to avoid disputes, the Election Commission should immediately announce the date of the elections because we strongly believe that delaying the elections means denying the right of the people to vote.

People’s Party made it clear that no one will accept the results of the general elections without PTI. Acting President of People’s Party Punjab, Rana Farooq, while addressing a press conference in Lahore yesterday, said that Chairman PTI Imran Khan and his We do not support what the party did and they should be held accountable for their actions but remember that no one will accept the results of general elections without PTI.
