Multan Test, England bowled out for 181, Pakistan scored 107 runs for the loss of two wickets

In reply, Pakistan scored 107 runs for the loss of two wickets, debutant Abrar Ahmed dismissed seven players. On behalf of Pakistan, Abdullah Shafiq and Imam ul Haq opened the innings but Imam ul Haq got out without scoring 5 runs.

Abdullah Shafiq also returned to the pavilion after scoring 14 runs. At the end of the first day’s play, Pakistan scored 107 runs for the loss of 2 wickets and England has a lead of 174 runs. Babar Azam is on 61 and Saud Shakeel is at the crease on 32 runs.

Earlier, England captain Ben Stokes won the toss and decided to bat. He said that it is a different pitch from Rawalpindi and efforts will be made to keep Pakistan under pressure.

On this occasion, the captain of the national team, Babar Azam, said that if he had won the toss, he would have batted first, but soon he would return to the match after taking the wickets of the English batsmen.

On the other hand, the young fast bowlers of the national team Naseem Shah and Haris Raf have been out of the Multan Test due to injury. It should be noted that three changes were made in the national team.

Abrar Ahmed made his debut in today’s match while Naseem Shah and Azhar Ali were included in the playing XI in place of Faheem Ashraf and Mohammad Nawaz.
