Canada Global (Web News) Fawad Chaudhry, a senior leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), asserted on Thursday that Maryam Nawaz Sharif, senior vice president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), desired the disqualification of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Speaking at a news conference, Mr. Chaudhry blasted the current administration for introducing the motion in the National Assembly that was meant to overturn the Supreme Court’s (SC) decision. He claimed that by doing so, the outcome would remain unchanged.
Mr. Chaudhry criticised the coalition administration for “not being willing to contest elections,” stating that the constitution required elections to be held within 90 days after the assembly’s dissolution. Yet, the government disregards the nation’s constitution. The ruling class believes that voting rights should be abolished.
He emphasised the importance of escaping the political unrest in an effort to resolve the economic problems.
The PTI stalwart took a jab at PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and asked him “to restore the national money” and then relocated wherever he wished.
