Canada Global (Web News) Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, a father-daughter team, have travelled from London to Geneva, Switzerland, according to sources, who stated the tour should be over in a week.
According to the sources, Nawaz, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, and Maryam, the senior vice president of the party, would spend a week in the Swiss city.
The father-daughter combo, together with two other family members, boarded a Swiss flight today afternoon from Heathrow airport, according to the sources.
On January 9, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be in Geneva to co-host the International Conference on Climate Resilient Pakistan with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
The goal of the meeting is to mobilise international assistance for Pakistan’s flood-affected citizens.
The PML-N leader and his daughter would travel, according to the sources, and attend meetings as well as sightseeing.
