Canada Global (Web News) After a shooting on Monday night at an apartment complex in Toronto’s west end, one guy is dead and another is in arrest, according to police.
Just after 7 o’clock in the evening, reports of a shooting sent Toronto Police Service officers to Dundas Street West and Avonhurst Road, close to Kipling Avenue.
Police discovered a person who had been shot. Sadly, the person was declared dead at the scene, according to Insp. Suzanne Redman.
Shortly after that, a suspect was apprehended, and a handgun was found. There is no immediate danger to the public’s safety.
There is no information on whether the suspect and the victim had any kind of relationship.
Redman said that the shooting took place inside a building.
She stated that forensic officials were processing the site and that detectives were speaking to a few witnesses.
Police or Crime Stoppers were urged to be contacted by anybody with information.
