Canada Global (Web News) Imran Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was granted temporary release on bail for ten days on Thursday by the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
In seven cases, the IHC denied the former prime minister’s requests for bail. Imran’s interim bail was extended in two instances till next Tuesday.
Imran Khan was granted protective bail in seven charges for a period of ten days, and the court ordered him to appear before the Anti-Terrorism Court within ten days.
As ordered by the court, Imran himself attended the IHC. In the morning, he departed Lahore to appear before the IHC.
Imran was injured during his appearance in the Lahore High Court on Wednesday, and as a result, he was unable to travel to Islamabad. Doctors told him to relax because of the excruciating agony in his fractured leg. He was required by the IHC to show up in person on Thursday or else his request for bail would be denied.
During Imran’s visit to Islamabad, Section 144 was implemented by the Islamabad Capital Police in the nation’s capital.
