Hamilton Police Search For Man Who Killed Father

In a news release Sunday afternoon, police released a photo of a 22-year-old man wanted in connection with the first-degree murder of his father. It is worth noting that a 56-year-old man was found seriously injured in his Stoney Creek home on Saturday night. Police said they were called to a home near Trafalgar Drive and Mid Street around 7:40 p.m. Saturday. The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries but succumbed to his injuries.

Eyewitnesses said that after a fight with the father, the suspect fled the house. Police said that the suspect has been identified as Sikh Cheema and that he fled the scene in a small black SUV. The vehicle was last seen heading towards Mid Street, north of Trafalgar. The deceased has been identified as 56-year-old Kuldeep Cheema.
