Canada Global(Web News) One person died and two others were injured in an accident between two vehicles in the city center on Monday morning. Hamilton police are investigating the matter.
In a news release issued Monday, police said officers were called to the intersection of Main Street East and James Street South just before 1:30 p.m. after the crash was reported. When officers arrived, they found a man, believed to be in his 60s, unresponsive in a vehicle, police said. Attempts were made to save his life on the spot and he was rushed to the hospital, but he was later declared brought dead.
Two other men, both in their 20s, were found in the other vehicle. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The cause of the accident is not known. The matter is being investigated.
