Citing a statement from Qatar’s foreign ministry, Arab media reported that the Red Cross had received 24 hostages released by Hamas, including 13 Israelis, 10 Thais and one Filipino.

On the other hand, Israel also released prisoners including women and children under the agreement. According to the report, 39 female prisoners, including minor children, have been released from Israeli prisons.

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that 24 Palestinian women and 15 minor children were among those released from Israeli custody. According to the Arab media report, those released from both sides have been transferred to the hospital for medical examination.

The government of Thailand also confirmed the release of its citizens in Gaza to Hamas, saying that their countrymen have been on the road and their families are counting one bridge at a time.

Meanwhile, 13 more hostages entered Egypt, which Israeli media claimed were Israeli citizens and had been handed over to Egypt, while Egypt would receive Palestinian prisoners and hand over the hostages.

Among the Palestinians freed from Israeli prison is a Palestinian woman who was imprisoned for 8 years. Apart from this, other prisoners while talking to the media said that ‘after October 7, the Israeli army committed many atrocities in the prisons’.

Among those freed is Neha Keidhar, a Palestinian woman who said she had been diagnosed with cancer but was very happy to be back home.

It should be noted that 14,800 Palestinians were martyred and more than 25,000 were injured in the ongoing bombing of Gaza since October 7, while 1,400 Israelis were killed.
