Canada Global(Web News)The Palestinian resistance organization Hamas is considering a 5-day ceasefire in exchange for the release of 70 hostages.
Abu Ubaydah, the spokesman of Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said in a Hamas audio statement that the Qatari mediators have been informed that they are ready to release 70 hostages, women and children, in exchange for a 5-day ceasefire.
The spokesman said that under the agreement there should be a complete ceasefire and aid should reach all areas of the Gaza Strip. Israel does not want to pay the price of the agreement.
Abu Obeidah further said that last week the Qatari brothers tried to release 200 Palestinian children and 75 women from the enemy’s possession in exchange for the release of the enemy’s hostages.
