Canada Global(Web News) Train lines along the border between Toronto and Wayne were temporarily closed due to grass fires in several places. This information has been given by Van Fire and Rescue Service.
Crews from Toronto were called to tackle grass fires at three different locations along the North-South railway line, including Stiles Avenue and Highway 400, Keel Street and Stiles Avenue and Weston Road and Stiles Avenue. During the update, a Van Fire spokesperson said the fire was pushed to the tracks due to high winds.
Crews had to struggle to control the fire. Earlier, CN closed the train lines once but later they were reopened. No injuries were reported.
