Canada Global (Web News) The Election Commission has released the details of the basic qualifications of the candidates participating in the general elections. According to the Election Commission, the candidate must be a citizen of Pakistan to become a Member of the Assembly and the last date for submitting nomination papers. The age of the candidate should not be less than 25 years.
According to the Election Commission, the candidate for the seat of the National Assembly must be a voter of any place in Pakistan and for the seat of the Provincial Assembly, the candidate must be the candidate of the respective province. While the candidate for the reserved seat for women must be a voter of the respective province on the seats of the National Assembly.
According to the Election Commission, the details of candidate eligibility and disqualification are listed in Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution, for general seats, the candidate must be a voter of the respective constituency, while for non-Muslim seats, the candidate must be a voter. A voter can be from any part of Pakistan Election Commission has asked that every candidate should open a special account in any scheduled bank for election expenses and if the account already exists, enter the bank account details in the nomination papers. The candidate will verify the affidavit on the stamp paper.
