Canada Global (Web News) After meeting Maryam Nawaz, the PML-N’s senior vice president, Uzma Kardar, a former leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), joined the party on Tuesday.
After meeting with Ms. Nawaz, Ms. Kardar tweeted, “After meeting with Ms. Nawaz, I had joined the PML-N.”
The PTI Standing Committee on Discipline and Accountability made a significant decision in 2020 and cancelled Ms. Kardar’s basic party membership.
She was informed in writing by the PTI’s Standing Committee on Discipline and Accountability that her behaviour was inappropriate for a member of the Provincial Assembly and that she was unqualified for the position. As a result, Ms. Kardar’s basic party membership had been terminated.
