For alliance with PML-N, People’s Party asked Bilawal for Prime Ministership

 Canada Global(Web News)In order to form a coalition government with PML-N, Pakistan Peoples Party has demanded the Prime Ministership for Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

According to reports received by Nawaz League sources, former Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, former President Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto met on Friday night and discussed forming a coalition government in the future.

On Saturday, party sources discussed with Nawaz League leaders various options for government formation in the federation and Punjab. In this regard, the leadership of Nawaz League also held a meeting on Saturday which was presided over by Shahbaz Sharif.

Senator Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Maryam Aurangzeb, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, Attaullah Tarar, Khawaja Imran Nazir and others participated in this meeting.

Sources said that Shahbaz Sharif told his party members that former President Asif Zardari started the conversation with the demand to make Bilawal Bhutto the Prime Minister and give him the central ministerial portfolios.

According to the sources, Shahbaz Sharif further told the party leaders that in return, Asif Ali Zardari offered to support the Nawaz League to form the government in Punjab. Nawaz League president also discussed various options for government formation.

It was also observed that although Nawaz League has emerged as the ‘largest’ political party in the country, it still cannot form a government on its own and will need other parties or independent members.
