Canada Global(Web News)Three people were injured, one of whom is in a critical condition, as a result of a shooting in the entertainment district of the city of Toronto at night.
Emergency crews were called to the Bisha Hotel on Blue Jay Way, north of Wellington Street, around 3:00 a.m. Police say the shooting happened on the street outside the hotel. The duty inspector said that two persons have been taken to the hospital. The man, aged in his 30s, is said to be in critical condition and the woman, aged in her 20s, suffered minor injuries. Another man, in his 30s, drove himself to the hospital, police said.
Inspector Malik said that the injured were also treated on the spot. He said that at least two policemen were present on the spot. Police are also taking help from eyewitnesses. Malik said investigators believe the shooting was fully planned.
