According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred 5 km below the surface of the earth. The nation’s capital experienced tremors.
There have been no reports of casualties or damage as of yet.
The 2.5-magnitude earthquake’s epicentre was located eight kilometres west of New Delhi.
A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck Mandi in Himachal Pradesh a few days ago, and the tremors were reported in Delhi-NCR.
