Canada Global (Web News) Lahore and other cities in Punjab saw strong earthquake tremors on Wednesday, according to the meteorological agency.
The earthquake was five kilometres deep and registered a Richter scale value of 4.1. According to the Met Office, the earthquake’s epicentre was located 12 km west of Sheikhupura and 34 km west of Lahore.
Earthquake was felt in Sheikhupura, Sharqpur, and Lahore among other places in Punjab, although there were no reports of any damage. There were tremors reported in certain areas of neighbouring India as well.
People came out of their homes reciting Kalima Tayyaba in a state of terror.
