Canada Global(Web News) Stephen Leche has been removed from the post of Minister of Education in a major cabinet reshuffle by Ontario Premier Doug Ford.
Leche, who has been in the post since 2019, will now work alongside Todd Smith as secretary of energy and power.
Leche was at odds with teachers’ unions during his reign. Speaking to reporters, he said it is a unique privilege to serve two million children in Ontario’s publicly funded schools.
