Maryam Nafis, a well-known actress of Pakistan showbiz industry, has said in an interview that the negative comments that came out after a photo shoot went viral on social media caused her mental stress.
The actress said that before the birth of her daughter, she had informed her fans and loved ones about her pregnancy through a photoshoot, but the reaction to it was surprising and disturbing.
Maryam Nafis said that people made so many negative comments on social media about the pregnancy photos that she had to close her social media account due to mental distress.
“Pregnancy is a normal thing and should not be taken as a taboo,” she added, adding that along with the negative comments, there were people who wished me happiness and well.
