Canada Global(Web News)A grass fire near Kellaway Park forced the venue to close its doors on Sunday afternoon.
In a message on its website, Callaway Park management said they learned of a grass fire south of the park around 2:42 p.m., forcing them to close the park for safety reasons.
Thanks to the Springbank Fire Department for extinguishing the fire and the Cochrane RCMP for assisting with traffic control,
Calaway Park management said the safety of guests and team members is their first priority.
