Canada Global (Web News) National Accountability Bureau (NAB) legislative revisions were adopted by the federal government on Monday.
The federal cabinet has approved the distribution of the draught of the NAB legislation revision ordinance, according to sources with knowledge of the issue. The NAB Chairman will refer cases that the accountability court finds inadmissible to any other appropriate forum.
NAB chairman will have the power to reevaluate a case that had been ruled inadmissible and to authorise its closure, according to the language of the ordinance.
After obtaining the case from the NAB, the responsible institution would have the authority to gather further evidence. Under the NAB modifications, the case won’t be transferred from one area court to another.
