Canada Global(Web News)Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in response to a question about the company laying off 9 percent of its workforce on Thursday that Bell’s layoffs are the latest round of layoffs.
“It’s a trash decision by a corporation that should know better,” Trudeau said at a health care press conference in the Greater Toronto Area.
Canadians need to demand better, because we will, in this case, demand better from corporate leaders like Bell who destroy Canadians’ ability to know each other, trust each other, and trust the country and the future. Bell executives accused
the federal government of taking too long to provide relief to media companies that saw their ads dry up, as well as for the CRTC to respond to the “immediate crisis.” I am very slow.
