Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow and concern over the incident and called on the Iranian government to immediately arrest and punish the accused. On the other hand, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqai said that the terrorists strongly condemned the attack, saying that this attack is a criminal act and goes against Islamic teachings, law and human values.
