Seven of the murdered Pakistanis belong to Khanqah Sharif area of ​​Bahawalpur, while one Pakistani belongs to Shujaabad area of ​​Multan. Last night, a special plane transported eight bodies from Iran to Islamabad and then to Bahawalpur, from where they were sent to their native areas by ambulances. The victims of the terror attack were motor mechanics who worked in a workshop in Iran’s Sistan province.

The Pakistani ambassador had said that the dead included Muhammad Amir, Muhammad Dilshad, Muhammad Nasir, Malik Jamshed, Muhammad Danish, Muhammad Naeem, Ghulam Jafar and Muhammad Khalid. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow and concern over the incident and called on the Iranian government to immediately arrest and punish the accused. On the other hand, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqai said that the terrorists strongly condemned the attack, saying that this attack is a criminal act and goes against Islamic teachings, law and human values. The spokesman added that Iran will leave no stone unturned to identify the perpetrators of this crime and bring them to justice.
