Canada Global (Web News) Stories are now an integral part of every social media and messaging app, allowing users to share their daily moments with others.
WhatsApp has added stories as status and the good news is that now you can share status with your friends on the web version of WhatsApp. Sharing is possible. When a user updates a status on the web version, a green ring will appear on their profile photo, which can be clicked to view the status.
WABetainfo reports that this new feature has been introduced in the beta version of the web version. It is estimated that millions of people use the web version of WhatsApp and it is mostly used for office purposes. To use WhatsApp Web, click on the status icon at the top left and select My Status. Doing so will bring up the options for images and videos and text below.
How to use the feature
Status feature is used by many people and hence changes are made continuously. Some time ago voice status feature was also introduced in WhatsApp and now this status feature is being added to the web version as well. As mentioned above this feature is only introduced in beta version so it is hard to say when it will be available for all users.
