The resolution to expel the infamous George Santos from Congress was passed by a vote of 114 to 311.
A plaque in his name was also removed from the former Republican congressman’s office.
Jorge Santos is accused of spending campaign money on extravagant and extravagant expenses while also stealing charity money earmarked for dogs.
As he was leaving the House, Santos was surrounded by reporters, to whom he said, “You guys know officially that I am no longer a member of Congress.”
Santos, 35, of Queens, New York, is the sixth member of Congress to be expelled from the House.
