Canada Global (Web News) The federal government on Thursday chose Grade 21 officer Akhtar Hayat Gandapur to replace Moazzam Jah Ansari as the new Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police due to the increase in terrorist incidents in the province since the shift of the chief secretary (IGP).
In this regard, a notification has also been released by the interior ministry. The 1973 Civil Service Act allowed for the transfer of the new IGP. Akhtar Hayat had previously worked for the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)
