Canada Global(Web News) 20 people died after a boat sank in the river in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. The Afghan media quoted the governor of Nangarhar as saying that 25 people including women and children were on board the boat.
The bodies of 5 people who died by drowning have been taken out. The incident of boat sinking took place in Momand Dara district of Nangarhar on Saturday morning. The cause of the sinking of the boat is not known. Rescue teams are busy searching for drowned people and bodies.
