Canada Global(Web News) One person was killed in a late-night aerial shooting outside a residential complex in North Etobicoke. The case is being investigated as murder.
Emergency crews were called to a residential building on Bergamot Avenue near Rexdale Boulevard and Islington Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Paramedics found and examined a man unconscious near the front gate of the building, but no one was taken to the hospital. Police confirmed that the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Locals said they heard gunshots and then looked out the windows to see a person lying on the ground and someone running towards a car. Then that car ran away from there. The Toronto Police Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation.
