Canada Global(Web News)A Manitoba man has been charged with five counts of first degree murder. Among the dead are two other small children, including a two-month-old girl, the children’s mother and a teenage relative.
Details of the incident were revealed at a news conference held by the RCMP on Monday. Ryan Howard Mankisek, 29, his 30-year-old common-law partner, a six-year-old girl, a four-year-old boy and Along with the two-month-old girl, the mother’s 17-year-old niece has been charged with murder. The names of the dead have not been released by the police.
The case was investigated after police were called to a hit-and-run case on Highway 3 early Sunday morning. The children’s mother was found dead in a ditch. Two hours later, 70 kilometers north, police officers were called to reports of a burning vehicle. RCMP said Mankisick was seen pulling three children from the vehicle. The children were pronounced dead at the scene and Mancsik was taken into police custody.
