Canada Global(Web News)One person was taken to hospital after a collision between a construction vehicle and a transport truck on Highway 416 in Ottawa on Wednesday afternoon.
Ontario Provincial Police said the crash happened in the southbound lanes near Roger Stevens Drive shortly before 3:30 p.m. Ottawa paramedics said the crash involved a transport truck and a construction vehicle.
The driver of the truck, an adult male, suffered severe burns. He was taken to the Ottawa Hospital’s trauma center, where he is in critical but stable condition. An adult male occupant of the construction vehicle was also taken by ambulance to hospital in a stable condition.
