Canada Global(Web News)Officials at Rabbit Hill Snow Resort, south of Edmonton, said staff had to perform an emergency rescue Saturday morning after a child on a triple chair became unstuck
on the hill, with skiers sharing video showing A child’s legs are seen sliding off the chairlift seat.
The hill’s general manager said the incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. Patrons saw what was happening and immediately alerted staff.
“We rescued the baby,” said Derek Luck, general manager of Rabbit Hill Snow Resort.
“Our first aid team checked the guest and determined that he was not injured,” Luck said. “We conduct emergency training with our staff throughout the year. Our staff did an amazing job getting to the guest quickly with our specialized equipment.
