Canada Global(Web News)A 19-year-old girl died in a shooting in a nightclub in Mississauga.
Peel police said shortly after 1:30 a.m. Sunday they responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Dickey Road and Eglinton Avenue East. A 19-year-old girl was injured in the firing here, who was taken to hospital where she was declared brought dead.
Police spokesman Constable Mandeep Khatra said the girl was standing on the sidewalk outside the nightclub when she was shot. No details about the suspect have been released yet. Police say there is no danger to the public and the matter is under investigation.
